International Scientific Conference, 11-13th September 2026, in Ohrid, North Macedonia
We are happy to announce that from 11 to 13 September 2026, an international scientific conference dedicated to taxation, social inequality, and the informal economy will be held in Ohrid, North Macedonia.
The conference is organized as the final activity within the framework of the Scientific Research Project “Innovative Scientific Solutions for Combating Social Inequality and the Shadow Economy in the Republic of North Macedonia through Tax Regulation”, funded by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of North Macedonia.
The conference will serve as an academic forum for knowledge exchange, critical discussion, and analysis of the research findings, with a particular focus on the challenges related to tax regulation, inequality, and possible directions for future legislative and institutional reforms in the Republic of North Macedonia.
The event will bring together distinguished professors and researchers in the fields of tax law and economics from universities in North Macedonia, as well as from Central and Eastern European countries, including Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
