On November 10, 2025, a team of professors from the Faculty of Law “Iustinianus Primus” – Skopje, composed of Prof. Aleksandar Stojkov, Aleksandra Maksimovska, Prof. Jovan Zafiroski and Prof. Elena Neshovska, conducted a study visit to University College London (UCL), United Kingdom, where they presented the results of the work carried out so far on the scientific research project “Innovative Scientific Solutions for Combating Social Inequality and the Shadow Economy in the Republic of North Macedonia through Tax Regulation” to their colleagues and young researchers.
The aim of this project activity was to exchange experiences regarding international best practices for formalizing the informal sector and reducing social inequality, to discuss the most suitable model that could be applied in the Macedonian context, and to strengthen cooperation between the two scientific institutions.
The scientific research project “Innovative Scientific Solutions for Combating Social Inequality and the Shadow Economy in the Republic of North Macedonia through Tax Regulation” is funded by the Ministry of Education and Science.
